Family Farm of Montefalco:

A magical morning spent in the countryside of Montefalco! We begin on a small farm just under the walls of the town where we will learn about biodiversity and how all of the animals ‘help out’ from honeybees, to chickens & geese, to the pigs and sheep! We will enjoy a morning snack of products produced on the farm.
Option to then take a stroll through the beautiful hilltop village of Montefalco for sho
pping (local linens, olive wood, wine) or shopping in Bevagna with a visit to an olive oil mill included. Lunch at my enoteca, Le Barbatelle in Bevagna will complete the day!

The Artisans of Bevagna

A cultural tour through the historic center of Bevagna. We will learn about the history of this special town and its importance through Roman and Medieval times as a center of trade. Along the road we will visit the Roman amphitheater and thermal baths, a medieval candle maker (or similar craft), and current local artisans: visit to an olive oil mill, and shopping (as needed!) in the bottegas of local cashmere producers, jewelry makers, pasta makers and more!

We complete the day with lunch at my enoteca, Le Barbatelle located right in town!

Salumi, Cheese... and Wine!

We begin on a small sheep and pig farm just outside of Bevagna. Here we will learn how to make cheese with the cheesemakers, visit the animals and sample their local salumi. We then move to the historic center of Bevagna for a stroll through the village, visiting the olive oil mill, pasta maker, cashmere producers and more!

Finally we sit down to a wine tasting lunch at my enoteca in town, Le Barbatelle!

Perugia: Bottom to Top!

The day begins at the base of the Perugia at the weekly organic Farmers Market (Thursday only). We then hop on the ‘MiniMetro’ to the top of the Etruscan city for breathtaking views of the area. Meandering through the byways of the town we will have an exclusive tour of an artist's studio, visit a weaver who makes jacquard on 17th century looms, while taking in the sights of local artisans and shopkeepers along the way! Lunch in an osteria known for its unique use of Umbrian products.
